THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION notice for market research purposes only to determine the availability of qualified sources capable of providing the services described below. Description of Service: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20 Northwest Network Healthcare System (V20NNVAHCS), is currently requesting information in order to determine the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing of a locum physiatrist for performance at its American Lake and Seattle Divisions. Services are currently provided under V797P-7353A VA260-15-F-0371 that expires April 30, 2016. The anticipated contract will be a re-competition for services to begin at the end of that contract, and the anticipated contract period is a 1-year base period plus four 1-year option periods, with services estimated to commence on May 1, 2016. See the draft Performance Work Statement for additional information. If you are interested and are capable of providing the required services, please complete the sources sought questionnaire below and email your response to Suzanna.day@va.gov no later than 2:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST) on November 6, 2015. Include any comments or questions you may have. Additionally, please submit a brief capability statement (less than 5 pages) with enough information to demonstrate to the VA that your company can provide the services. The capabilities statement request is not a Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding your company's ability to provide the service. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of a capability statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. Please clearly identify any information your company considers sensitive or proprietary. Responses will be evaluated for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Responses to the Questionnaire are encouraged from all interested parties. You are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for this solicitation. Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted.
