- The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, on a sole-source basis, to AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD (CAGE: 97384) to provide repair services for the inspection, calibration, labor and materials necessary to restore parts associated with the Advanced Boresight Equipment to Ready For Issue condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. AAI Corporation is the only known source with the knowledge and technical data to provide repair services to the Advanced Boresight Equipment. AAI Corporation is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Advanced Boresight Equipment and retains all the proprietary/technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary repairs of the Advanced Boresight Equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) ( https://www.sam.gov ) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award of a contract.
