Description
Network Contracting Office VISN 6 has a requirement for a Pharmacy Automation Management Solution. The VISN has a large investment of Omnicell assets that consist of medication cabinets, anesthesia workstations, licenses, servers, printers, etc. VISN 6 intent is to augment the existing assets by purchasing additional Omnicell assets for a fully automated inventory management solution for 7 facilities. The inventory management solution will consist of a single vendor outfitting a high-speed packagers, carousels, anesthesia workstations, medication cabinets and workflow application. A single vendor solution is the essential platform to the pharmacy service automation workflow for medication distribution throughout the medical center and outlying clinics to; automate medication ordering, receiving, stocking, and picking processes in an effort to increase pharmacy staff efficiency. The workflow enables medication placement at the point of care decreasing order turnaround time; reduces medication errors thus improving quality of care; enables heightened medication security and diversion prevention; improves medication tracking and regulatory compliance; and reduces inventory costs through medication par level optimization. A single vendor solution is the only means to accomplish a fully automated inventory management solution. Any other vendor capable of meeting this requirement must replace the existing Omnicell assets. 1.Omnicell Medication Packager 7 EA 2.Omnicell Anesthesia Workstation with Barcode Scanner and Laberler 33 EA 3.Omnicell Carousel with Workflow Software, Printer and Server 5 EA The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112 Size Standard: 500, and the Classification code is 6515. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
