Description
PATRIOT proposed contract is in support of the US Government (USG) and International Partners’ Field Surveillance and Missile Post-Production activities. The contractor shall furnish all services, hardware, facilities, equipment, and also provide all planning, management, technical, and logistical support to all test, failure analysis, quality, reliability, and maintenance support activities for the pre-PAC3 Legacy PATRIOT missile rounds conducted at the maintenance facility, Government, and subcontractor locations. The estimated period of performance is 1 February 2017 - 31 January 2020. Options are included to provide PMSC support at PATRIOT Missile Assembly/Disassembly Facilities (MADFs) for the USG, NSPA, Greece, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Korea, Kuwait, Israel, Taiwan; and provide support to Japan, UAE and Qatar in each base year. This effort is restricted to Raytheon Company, CAGE Code: 05716 because is the only source which possesses the necessary technical expertise, experience, and unique facilities required to perform the technical support required by the PMSC. The Government does not have the technical expertise to perform this task. Performing the engineering tasks requires the utilization of special support and simulation equipment developed by Raytheon.
