Specs Specifications/ Special Instructions CANVAS, INTERLINING, WOVEN USMA Local Stock Number TR0500 1. Contents: 21% Cotton, 22% Viscose, 20% Polyester, 28% Horse or Goat Hair, 9% Rayon Filament 2. Cuttable Width: 60 to 72.1 inches or 152.5 to 183 cm (+/- 0.5 inches or 1.27 cm) 3. Fabric Weight: Approx 7.2 ounces per square yard or 240 grams per square meter (+/- 0.2 oz/sq yd or 5 grams) 4. Color:Natural 5. Construction: Plain Weave / Tafetan 6. Warp Yarn Contents: Cotton 7. Weft/Filling Yarn Contents: Horse or Goat Hair, Viscose, Viscose Filament and Polyester. 8. Shrinkage: (AATCC Test Method 125-1995) a. Warp: 3% (+/- 0.5%) b. Weft/Filling: 1.5% (+/- 0.5%) 9. All offerors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement need to follow these instructions. If an offeror does not comply with these instructions, they shall be excluded from consideration of a contract award. 10. Packing and packaging: According to standard commercial practices; each roll must contain a tag legible from the outside end of the package as to actual yardage and each roll must be individually packaged in paper, plastic wrap, or plastic bag to prevent soiling in freight and storage. Intended end use: Coat-Front interlinings, chest pieces for Cadet Coats and Overcoats. 11. Any vendor offering a substitution must submit a sample to Maureen Flanagan Bldg 681, Rm 104, Hardee Pl. West Point, NY 10996. 12. All samples must be submitted with offers proposal by the closing date of the solicitation. 13. Samples will include the following detailed specifications. Sample Product Size (~1.5-2Yd sample) Cuttable (usable) Width: {=Total width of cloth minus the selvage on both sides} Fabric Weight: Color: Construction (weave): Warp Yarn Contents: Weft Yard Contents: Shrinkage per AATCC Test Method 125-1995 or current ASTM equivalent test. Composition Name of Company, Contact Name (First & Last), Mailing Address, City, State, Zip Code, Direct Phone Number, and Email Address. Please include the Solicitation Number (W911SD-16-T-0010) 14. The Government shall make one contract award. Therefore, if an offeror doesn't submit substitution samples with their proposal, they shall not receive consideration for contract award.
