It is the Governments intent to utilize the contract resulting from a the solicitation to obtain labor, supervision, services and material required for interior design, and for storage, web based inventory management, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, purchase, and reconfiguration of furniture and signage for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Headquarters Complex and other supported facilities within the National Capital Region. The IQ quantities of supplies and services specified in the schedule are estimates only, all work will be issued via Task Orders. These services will typically include storage of excess DLA furniture, performance of work orders to repair existing furniture, response to requests for additional new or refurbished furniture, and new work orders to reconfigure existing offices which may include dismantling existing furniture, design of new layouts, and installation of new, refurbished and/or reused furniture for new or relocated employees, and purchase of new product. Best value selection procedures will be utilized in conducting this competitive negotiation, which will consist of the submission of technical, past performance, and price. The solicitation was issued on September 25, 2015 with a response date due on October 26, 2015. However, Amendment 0001 extended the response date to October 30, 2015.
