Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 6.302-1 Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source purchase order to LSI Solutions, Victor, NY, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The proposed procurement is for the purchase of a Cor-Knot Mechanical Suturing Device for the Department of Veterans Affairs Louis Stokes Cleveland Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cor-Knot Mechanical Suturing Device includes the following items: Line Qty U/M Part No. Nomenclature 15 bx 031350 Cor-Knot Mini Combo Kit 23 bx 030874 Cor-Knot QLU, 6- pouch 34 bx 030850 Cor-Knot, QLU Singles The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 500 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 3:00 pm, EST on November 4, 2015. Inquires will only be accepted via email to Thomas.Edwards3@va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
