Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA257-16-Q-0108. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83, effective August 21, 2015. The associated North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 339112 with a small business standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is solicited as a 100% set-aside for small business. STATEMENT OF WORK PURPOSE: To procure Gynecology surgical equipment to support new surgeon. GOAL: MyoSure Hysteroscopy Tissue Removal System and Aquilex fluid control system offer a fully integrated solution, making it simple to quickly remove polyps and fibroids while maintaining uterine form and function. We currently do not own a tissue removal system for Gynecology. Requirements: Tissue removal system must have disposable/single use hand pieces for tissue removal. This will decrease the possibility of cross contamination. Re-usable hand pieces can be difficult to properly clean and sterilize posing a patient safety hazard. Tissue Removal system and Fluid Control must be designed to work together. Proper fluid management to critical to patient safety in this particular type of procedure. Fluid System: The fluid pump must be capable of 800 ml/min inflow for optimal visualization. Consist of two integrated vacuum providing all suction needs. System must have adjustable suction for the tissue removal device allowing the ability to adjust and control tissue removal rate.
