- PWS for Chiller Maintenance New Buy Presolicitation Notice: FA8601-16-R-0001 Sources Sought notice published under Chiller Maintenance FA8601-16-R-0001ss on 5-May-15 and again on 6-Aug-15. This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2 and 36.213-2. The NAICS code is 811310 and the Size Standard is $7.5M. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM); contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA8601-16-R-0001 The work consists of performing maintenance, improvements, overhaul, replacement, routine repair and emergency service calls on centrifugal, screw and reciprocal chillers, air conditioning systems, and associated cooling system components at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Associated cooling system components include, but are not limited to water towers, ductwork and environmental control systems and interfaces. This work shall include moving and rigging of materials on the job site for normal recommended maintenance, performance of this contract, testing, and cleanup. Overhaul/replacement work shall be scheduled in writing by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The Government will provide a list of those chillers to be overhauled/replacement and a schedule before any overhaul work commences. Other repair or emergency actions shall be identified to the contractor by the COR. All work shall be accomplished on an on-call (service call) basis with all required work and material identified by contractor prior to start of work. The contractor is not responsible for window room air conditioners. The Air Force intends to award a contract with a base year and two option years period of performance. NOTES: 1. The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the FedBizOps website on or about 13-Nov-15, at http://www.fbo.gov. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is 30-Nov-15. The period of performance is one base year and 2 option years. 2. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. This is a WPAFB Operational Contracting (PZIOBA) program. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and it is a Category J - Maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of equipment.
