Description

This procurement will be issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) through Invitation for Bid (IFB) procedures under FAR 14 and other FAR Parts and Subparts as applicable. The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, has a requirement to complete site preparation for the installation of a new Phillips Allura Xper FD20 Monoplane in the area presently occupied by the Interventional Radiology Suite at the Oklahoma VA Medical Center. The Scope of Work will also take into consideration the removal of the existing equipment by others, limited demolition of the existing area, renovation and construction of the spaces for the new equipment, delivery of the new equipment by others, and coordination with the equipment vendor during installation. The tentative date for issuing the Invitation for Bid (IFB) is on or around November 13, 2015, with the bid opening (the date bids should be submitted by) approximately 30 calendar days later on or around December 14, 2015 (the IFB will state the exact time/date for bid opening). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 30 calendar days or less after the Bid Opening. The Contract Performance Period is 150 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed. Location of the work is on the Oklahoma City VA Campus, Oklahoma City, OK. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision transportation and anything else necessary to perform all work as described in project Scope of Work, Drawings, and Specifications. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this IFB and the Small Business Size Standard is $36.5M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested bidders are asked to first read over the IFB and all of its associated attachments/documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the IFB as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit. Only one site visit will be conducted and no requests for additional site visits or make-up site visits will be granted. The IFB will be posted and can be downloaded (without charge) from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the FBO website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the IFB (and associated documents/attachments) from the FBO website and for acknowledging all amendments to the IFB.
