Description

The Government anticipates issuing a 48 month cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) contract that provides non-recurring engineering services and the delivery of four (4) each Form, Fit, Function, and Interface (FFFI) redesigned AN/ALQ-172 Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)-1's. A total of one National Stock Number (NSN) will be redesigned under this effort; NSN 5865-01-424-5096EW, Part Number (P/N) 2637801G001. The contracted engineering services are to resolve AN/ALQ-172 LRU-1 Obsolete Part and Vanishing Vendor issues with the LRU. The proposed contract action is sole source to Exelis Inc, Cage Code: 28527 under statutory authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not currently own sufficient technical data for competition of this requirement. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The approximate solicitation issue date is 20-Nov-2015. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All potential offerors should contact the PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
