Description

SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification, hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small business or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 811219 (size standard of $20.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources for a potential contractor to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for six (6) surgical microscopes for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, 6900 North Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV 89086. Equipment Description: Surgical Microscope Manufacturer: Zeiss Model#: Lumera 700 with Resight Serial#: 6634143221 Equipment Description: Surgical Microscope Manufacturer: Zeiss Model#: Vario 700 Serial#: 6636160766 Equipment Description: Surgical Microscope Manufacturer: Haag Streit Moller Model#: HI-R 900A -NIR Serial#: P51 Equipment Description: Surgical Microscope Manufacturer: Haag Streit Moller Model#: HI-R 700 with stand 614-900 Serial#: 595 stand 424 Equipment Description: Surgical Microscope Manufacturer: Leica Model#: M680/M695 Serial#: 01063472 Equipment Description: Surgical Microscope Manufacturer: Leica Model#: M320 Serial#: 110112004 Vendor must perform two Preventive Maintenance services, repair services to manufacturer specifications. Contractor shall provide all parts and labor to complete repairs. Contractor shall provide loaner equipment if needed while Microscopes are serviced. 24 hour onsite response time to repair requests. The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications. If a solicitation is published, a site walk thru may be available in order to address key details. If you are interested, and are capable of providing the sought out services please provide the requested information as well as the information indicated below. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought. Responses to this sources sought notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
