- Updated Scope of Work SCOPE The contractor shall provide an aerial data collection system, the additional equipment needed for installation and training in the operation of the system according to the specifications detailed bellow in item "Detailed description for the aerial data collection system" in order to provide support to intelligence activities to the Colombian Navy Intelligence. The contractor shall provide warranty and customer service in order to guarantee an adequate customer support in Colombia. The vendor shall provide ALL items stated under this RFQ. TYPE OF CONTRACT This is a firm-fixed price, single award contract. No additional sums will be payable on account of any escalation in the cost of materials, equipment or labor, or because of the Contractor's failure to properly estimate or accurately predict these prices or difficulty of achieving the results required by this contract. Nor will the contract price be adjusted on account of fluctuations in the currency exchange rates. ACQUISITION METHOD The Government contemplates awarding a single award Firm-Fixed Price contract to a responsible vendor who is lowest price technically acceptable meeting the Governments requirement. The Solicitation procedures are in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF CONTRACT This contract shall be effective on the date of the Contracting Officer's signature and shall remain valid until all commodities are received, inspected and accepted by the Government. SUPPLIES AND PRICES The Contractor shall provide to the U.S. Government the new products as described in the specifications for the stated firm fixed price. Further, the Contractor shall properly perform the pre-delivery inspection on the products and deliver them to the location set forth under Place of Delivery, of this contract. The firm fixed price shall include the products pre-delivery inspection, certificates of origin, operator's manuals, warranty certificates and any other documentation mandated by the Government under NAICS code 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation Guidance, aeronautical and nautical system and instrument manufacturing. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The installation will be conducted at the Colombian Navy Aviation Facilities, located in the Aviation Zone, Gate 6, El Dorado Airport, Bogotá Colombia. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The contractor shall provide and deliver the licenses with maintenance and support for one year period and four (4) one (1) year option periods.
