Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. The Houston VAMC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to provide supplied labor and equipment in preparing all Houston VA medical records for shipment located at Iron Mountains 36 CFR Part 1234 NARA Approved Facility in Kansas City location to Data Savers of Jacksonville Inc., 888 Suemac Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32254. Data Saver in Jacksonville Florida will coordinate pick up of material with Iron Mountain. All medical records will be ready for movement from Lenexa, Kansas secured facility and transported to Jacksonville, Florida security facility as soon as the records are prepared for shipment. NAICS Codes are 493110. The Size Standards are 500+ employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, solicitations, or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses must be submitted in writing by Friday 6 November 2015 @ 0900 a.m., and shall be sent to the CAVHS Contracting Office, Attention: Kelvin Amerine, Contract Specialist; 2200 Ft. Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114 or by email at kelvin.amerine@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
