- Class Justification and Approval This was previously solicitation N4523A-15-R-5001 Solicitation N4523A-15-R-5001 was number incorrectly; as a result, a new solicitation number (N4523A-16-R-5001) was issued. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-14-G-2114 (CVN BOA); approximately four (4) LEVEL II NON-DESTRUCTIVE TEST (NDT) and (2) Supervisors in support of efforts onboard the USS NIMITZ (CVN 68) and USS John C. Stennis (CVN -74) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Huntington Ingalls Industries - Newport News Shipbuilding under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Huntington Ingalls Industries is the only responsible source as no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement is for information purposes only. Interested firms are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 12:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time), stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. Interested parties should send all capability statements via email to leaundria.shaheed@navy.mil Period of Performance is 19 December 2015 through 24 June 2016
