Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 19 Network Contracting Office (NCO 19), on behalf of Denver VHAECH, plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition for KaVo Dental Hand Peices. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The NAICS code is 339114 and the Classification code is 6515. The suggested Vendor is Kavo Dental Technologies LLC., 11727 FRUEHAUF DR. CHARLOTTE, NC 28273-6507. Requested items consist of 150 Master Torque hand tools, and 25 Mastermatic mini tools. These tools are currently in use by Denver VHAECH and no other items at this point will satisfy agency requirements. This is due to the fact that sterilization methods and cleaning equipment is brand name specific to Kavo. All questions shall be directed to the contract representative by email to: Brian.Ballard@va.gov. Following the acquisition and within 14 days a Limited Source Justification shall be posted to FBO IAW FAR 8.405-6.
