Description

This synopsis is for the proposed an extension of nine-month base delivery order with a nine-month option to the Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract N00104-11-D-ZD43 to support the piece part support for the PHALANX Close-in-Weapon System (CIWS) with Raytheon Missile Services Company LLC (RMSC), Tucson, AZ. The contractor will be responsible for: requirements determination; inventory management; requisition processing; warehousing; packaging; shipping; receiving; tracking; reporting; resolving obsolescence issues; meeting performance metrics; and repairing of approximately 1,041 different stock numbered parts of the CIWS system. This eighteen (18) month contracts to provide a bridge for continued, uninterrupted PBL coverage from the expiration of the current PBL contract N00104-11-D-ZD43 until the anticipated award of a follow-on, five year PBL contract. Raytheon will provide all of the above described PBL functions and will be responsible for fleet requisition support to the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The supported items for this eighteen-month bridge are attached.
