- Description
- The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA), on behalf of the Security Assistance Management Directorate, intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W31P4Q-15-R-0163, on or about 25 November 2015, for the manufacture of the following items: Army Part Number 13007205, M121 Rocket Motor, 466 each Army Part Number 11743216, MK70/PS419 Battery, 450 each Army Part Number 10234569, M145 Safety and Arming Device, 150 each Army Part Number 9256709, M250 Warheads, 248 each This acquisition will use Full and Open Competition and award using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures, resulting in a single award of a two-year Firm Fixed Price contract. Award will be made to a single bidder/offeror whose bid/offer responds to ALL items in the solicitation. Please note that only companies that have the capabilities and past experience to manufacture and test ALL of the above items will be issued a solicitation. A First Article Test is required. This solicitation, as well as any amendments, will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and FAR 5.102. As a result, hard copies will not be provided. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access http://fedbizopps.gov in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of bids/proposals may render your bid/proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid/proposal are instructed to submit an email request to: michael.g.saramosing.civ@mail.mil with courtesy copy to: malissa.h.blake.civ@mail.mil. Any requests should contain the following information: CAGE CODE, Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, and Telephone Number. Upon request, a TDP will be provided electronically after the solicitation has been released to the Internet.
