- Statement of Work Intend to award sole source based on FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Applied Manufacturing Technology Division (AMTD) intends to procure an EOS M 290 Direct Laser Metal Sintering (DLMS) Machine Metallic 3D printer system in order to meet emerging requirements of Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division - China Lake (NAWCWD) customers. The requirement also includes metal powders base plates as well as printer training and maintenance. The solicitation will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 01 December 2015. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement of providing the services identified above for the LTC project may submit a written response, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-13-R-0069 and clearly show the firm's capability, background, experience and assets necessary to perform the required work mentioned above. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to william.c.burger@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 254130D (William Burger), NAVAIRWARCENWPNSDIV, 429 E. Bowen Rd. Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108 no later than 5 days from this Notice date.
