- RFQ Section A - Solicitation/Contract Form SECTION: A U.S. Government ~ Tax Exempt All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Marcia Rennie at marcia.rennie@navy.mil no later than 5 P.M EST 11/11/2015. Items must be brand new. Quote all items or none. Solicitation N00421-16-T-0031 is issued as a brand name procurement. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis for MEGGITT Pressure Transducers (MUST BE AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR OR RESELLER), under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The pressure transducers are direct replacement parts for units that are already in use. They must be identical in form/fit/function to these existing units for flight clearance, wiring, signal conditioning and physical mounting purposes. These pressure transducers are approved as part of the flight clearance. Offeror's must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. See Attached RFQ Preference will be given to authorized small business distributor or reseller over price. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. Your quote will only be evaluated on the information you provide. ***Basis for Award*** The Government intends to award this on a brand name basis. All interested parties MUST submit a brand name quote no later than 5 P.M EST 11/11/2015. Only brand name responses will be considered. Award will be made to the vendor that submits the lowest, aggregate, firm fixed-price, brand name quote.
