Description

The purpose of this amendment is to address the questions submitted, change the site-visit, extend questioning period and extend the close date of this solicitation. A second amendment will be issued after the site-visit closes to address any additional questions. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. A. The site-visit has changed from Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 9am - 12noon CST to Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 9am - 12noon CST. B. The questioning period has been extended to 2pm CST, Thursday, November 5, 2015. C. The solicitation close date has been changed from 8:00am CST, November 5, 2015 to 8:00am CST, November 9, 2016. D. Questions and Answers: 1.The name of the incumbent performing the work. What is the dollar value of the contract? How long the company has been performing the work? Answer: Advent Services LLC - $17,267.13 - 9 months 2.Is this requirement an EDWOSB Set Aside? Answer: WOSB 3.Will the vendor have remote access to the wireless system and components? Answer: Yes 4.Describe the level of support that is expected to be delivered? Answer: Tier 1 customer support and remote 1st level support is required for tech support. 5.Is there a system for password protection in place today or is one needed? Answer: Per the SOW, System for password protection of wireless network will be provided by the vendor. 6.Can the Government please post the attachments, including the diagram showing the locations of wireless network equipment referenced in the SOW. Answer: See attached diagrams for the following areas: Education, Executive Area, Eye Center, 1st Floor IPMH & OPMH, 2nd Floor IPMH & OPMH and 2nd Floor PTSD. 7.Can the Government please provide a detailed list of the inventory for all deployed Wi-Fi equipment? Answers: Equipment List provided on SOW 8.What is the average utilization (monthly) for the existing ISP circuit? What is the peak utilization for the circuit each month? Answers: Per the SOW, Estimate that up to 300 people can use the network at any given hour during normal working hours at VAMC Memphis (8am to 4:30pm CST Monday through Friday). The growth rate of users will be about 5% increase per year.
