Description

J&A The New York Air National Guard has awarded a firm-fixed price sole source award to International Door, Inc. for Service and Repair Overhead Door at Fort Drum. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification & Approval. The proposed contract action, a commercial action in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, is for procurement of service and repair of an inoperable overhead door which could result in mission delay. The purchase is issued on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis. The proposed vendor, International Door, Inc., is the original manufacturer and also installed the specialized overhead door. No other source was considered. This notice is for informational purposes only; no formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement. This is not a request for quote. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302- 1(a)(2)(ii), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intent of this award notice is to provide publicization in accordance with FAR 6.305(d). This notification is provided for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government was made not to compete this contract which is solely within the discretion of the Government.
