- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) 325 Waukegan Road, Northfield, IL 60093. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC. The Federal Correctional Complex has a need for Proficiency Testing Surveys to be in compliance with Federal Regulations for providing Laboratory services. Interruption of services would cause the Government undue damage. These services will be for the period of December 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This is sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1).
