- Amendment 0008 This amendment is being issued to incorporate the following changes: 1) Having reviewed the offerors proposals, DLA now understands that, in some instances (particularly where an item is sole-source), offerors cannot obtain a safety data sheet (SDS) and hazardous warning label (HWL) for all material prior to award. DLA is satisfied that offerors will be able to provide the appropriate SDSs and HWLs upon issuance of a delivery order if awarded the contract. DLA will not ask "the apparently successful Offeror" to submit additional SDSs and HWLs prior to award, as required by DFARS 252.223-7001 and DLAD 52.223-9000. 2) Based on discussions with offerors the Government believes that the refrigerant recovery cylinder return process needs to be clarified. The Contractor will accept the refrigerant recovery cylinder. The Contractor will reclaim the refrigerant and may use the material as they choose. The recovery cylinder will then be refurbished according to the SOW and will be priced out according to schedule B15. That refurbished cylinder will then become part of the GFP pool of cylinders. --End of amendment--
