Description
This announcement is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor shall it be construed as a commitment or an obligation by the government. No contract award will be made on the basis of this announcement. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this announcement. PURPOSE: The purpose of this announcement is to seek new or updated concepts and/or technologies for improved operations and/ or maintenance within the Range Threat portfolio. BACKGROUND: The Mission of the Range Threat Systems (RTS) Systems Program Office (SPO) is to increase combat effectiveness and aircrew survivability through the development, procurement, and logistical support of the most realistic Electronic Warfare (EW) threat simulators worldwide. The Combat Air Force (CAF) and Foreign Military use our threats to train aircrews to engage or defend against the latest surface-to-air missiles or anti-aircraft artillery threats before encountering them in actual combat. Test agencies use them to develop, test, and evaluate weapon systems or EW advancements. EVENT INFORMATION: The Government is hosting the Electronic Warfare Working Group (EWWG)/ Product Improvement Working Group (PIWG) event at Hill AFB, Utah on December 8, 2015. The Government is inviting Industry to participate in one-on-one sessions to provide a capabilities briefing that demonstrates new or updated concepts and/or technologies for use within the Range Threat portfolio. No registration fee is required. The Government is allotting up to 30 minutes for each session (includes presentation and discussion). Scheduling for one-on-one sessions is on a first com first serve basis, however the Government will try to accommodate requests to meet travel schedules. Presentations will begin at 8:30am (MST). The Government will accept promotional literature, brochures, and presentations on non-writeable CDs. Any information provided in the presentation will used for informational purposes only and will not be returned. Vendor participation is not a promise or guarantee of future business with the Government. Please note that the following is not authorized for use with any Government Computer: memory sticks, thumb drives, or any USB based systems and rewriteable CD's. The Government will meet participants at the Hill AFB South Gate Visitor's center between 7:15am-7:30am. Departure from the Visitor's center will be at 7:30am. Additional information on exact event location, driving directions, and session time will be provided to the Point of Contract after above information is submitted. All proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. All information submitted by respondents, including appropriately marked proprietary information, will be safeguarded and protected from unauthorized disclosure. Material or discussions must be kept at the UNCLASSIFIED level.
