Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source level of effort increase for contract N00421-13-C-0027 in support of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System Test Directorate (UASTD) test mission at Webster Field at St. Inigoes, Maryland. The purpose of this increase is to provide continued operational and maintenance support for UAS test operations while a follow-on support contract can be competed. The Government anticipates awarding the LOE increase on a sole-source basis to Avian LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The period of performance of the contract remains unchanged with expiration on 30 September 2018. The primary place of performance remains Webster Field, St. Inigoes, MD. This synopsis is for informational purposes only to announce the immediate intent to award a level of effort increase to Avian LLC, and provide Industry with advance notice of the upcoming competitive opportunity. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor FedBizOpps for a future announcement of the competitive opportunity; when that requirement is posted this announcement will be updated with reference information to locate that requirement.
