- This notice announces the intent by the Regional Health Contracting Office -Pacific in support of Tripler Army Medical Center to procure medical grade nitric oxide gas with delivery system for the treatment of hypoxic respiratory failure associated with pulmonary hypertension for Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Specifically the government intends to procure nitric oxide gas and delivery system manufactured by INO Therapeutics LLC, Perryville III Corporate Park, 53 Frontage Road, 3rd Floor, P.O. Box 9001, Hampton, NJ 08827-9001. INO Therapeutics LLC is the only known FSS source that manufactures this highly specialized delivery system. A physician prescribed amount of nitric oxide gas is precisely administered through the state-of-the-art drug delivery system called the INOmax DS. Nitric oxide is indicated for the treatment of hypoxic respiratory failure associated with pulmonary hypertension. There are no other sources on FSS schedule or open market The NAICS code is 325411. This announcement should have been posted through the GSA/FSS EBUY however, the requirement cannot be posted on GSA EBUY as the SIN 65 I B 42-2a is not a SIN supported by GSA EBUY. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by 12 Nov 2015, the solicitation will be issued as only one source.
