Description
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/ Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) is soliciting proposals for the SLC3S-A AMSS II requirement. The United States SLC3S-A AMSS II will require global broadband aero mobile satellite communication services to provide Senior leaders and their support staff with "Office in the Sky" capabilities. The scope of work includes global broadband communications with terrestrial communications backhaul to the U.S. Government's Points of Presence, technical support services, television services, Host Nation Agreement (HNA) support, and network operations center (NOC) support. A detailed description of the requirement and scope of work is located in Section C of the solicitation. The contract will be awarded competitively as a Single-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 1-year base period and six 1-year option year periods. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government utilizing the policies and procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in FAR Part 15. Prospective offerors are advised to review the solicitation in its entirety. Any and all questions are due to DITCO NLT Friday, October 30, 2015, at 3:00 pm CST and should be addressed to crista.n.decker.civ@mail.mil and janeanne.m.holten.civ@mail.mil. The government will post responses and/or amendments to the solicitation to FedBizOpps no later than Friday, November 6, 2015. Information regarding proposal submission is located in Section L of the solicitation. All proposals are due Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 12:00 PM (CST). Requests to extend the proposal due date will NOT be granted. The attachments listed in Section J of the solicitation are posted to FedBizOpps as well. Additional documentation pertaining to the technical requirements of the solicitation, known as the Bidders Library, are access controlled. All potential offerors will follow the guidance in Section L of the solicitation to request access to the Bidders Library. **************************************************** Additional documents have been added to the Bidders Library, and as such, the Government is extending the deadline to submit questions pertaining to the solicitation to Monday, November 09, 2015 at 12:00 pm CST. The Government will post answers as soon as possible following November 09. ****************************************************
