Description
This amendment hereby replaces the original sources sought, posted on 30 October 2015. Changes include an updated attachment A and attachment B that clarify and update the user ™s requirements for this potential procurement. The Naval Facilities Engineering Center (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) has a potential requirement for the procurement of 16 Explosive Ordinance Disposal Response Trucks (EODRT) under a potential Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. NAVFAC is soliciting feedback regarding the eventual procurement of a commercial, non-armored, EOD vehicle that will replace the current Continental United States and Outside Continental United States (CONUS and OCONUS) shore detachment response capability of the vehicle. The EODRT will be a highly mobile, wheeled vehicle platform with a full suite of mission equipment and communications and electronics capabilities specifically designed for C4ISR, explosive hazards and EOD operations. Some of the government equipment that will be used will be stored and transported within the vehicle requires power connections, storage bins and computer work station environments. Additionally, NAVFAC is requesting feedback regarding what capabilities are commercially available, in accordance with stated requirements. Interested parties are asked to identify any item(s) that may be difficult to install or integrate, or may be considered cost drivers for vehicle modification. All interested parties are invited to submit responses (see revised Attachment B) describing their ability to perform the work requirements or describing any products with similar capabilities.
