Description
Introduction: This is a Small Business Sources Sought announcement, sent on behalf of the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, seeking responses to determine the availability of sources for a stand-alone contract. The period of performance includes a base year and four one-year option periods. A single award is expected. This announcement does not constitute a notification for a specific requirement and is for informational purposes only to determine sources and the ability to Set-Aside any future requirements by the Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leonard Wood (MICC-FLW) office. IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED, IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Background: Provide specialized museum services to fulfill museum education and facility maintenance requirements. The John B. Mahaffey Museum Complex at Fort Leonard Wood consists of four museums: the Chemical Corps Museum, the Engineer Museum, the Military Police Museum, and the Fort Leonard Wood Museum. Required mission support consists of the areas defined below: Museum Services. Monitor supply and conduct print orders for approximately 15 educational brochures already prepared by museum staff. Develop scripts and conduct orientations or tours of each museum gallery, of the main building, or of the entire museum area of the following durations: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 120 minutes. Design, develop and conduct educational programs for Soldiers, to include AIT, ALC, SLC, BOLC, and CCC using artifacts and archives. Design educational programs for K-12 students, using Museum exhibits, artifacts, and written materials, structured around the Missouri Learning Standards. Design, develop and conduct outreach programs for K-12 classes, ROTC programs and area Army units. Will provide public service and security monitoring on Saturdays. Monitor maintenance issues with the twelve Fort Leonard Wood museum historic buildings, and prepare work orders for submission. Will open and close six Fort Leonard Wood public exhibit buildings on a daily basis, Monday through Saturday. Monitor inventories of support/reproduction and library items for the FLW, Chemical, Engineer and MP museums. Will operate digital camera, utilize tripod or copy stand, arrange lighting, process and organize image files for storage and use for Chemical, Engineer, MP and Fort Leonard Wood museum artifact photography; museum staff will handle artifacts. Responses: Responses are limited to twenty-five (25) pages. The designated NAICS Code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, with a small business size standard of $11M. It is required that all contractors doing business with the Government be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at website: https://www.sam.gov. Your response shall include the following information: size of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, women-owned small business, veteran-owned, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned, etc.); revenue for last three years; number of employees; information on company's ability to sustain growth (including any lines of credit); relevant past performance on same/similar work for not more than three years; and, your company's capability and capacity to do this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this Sources Sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation or to award any contract on the basis of this RFI. Further, the Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals or any cost or pricing data. Contractors are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be the sole responsibility of the contractor. All submissions will be treated as business confidential materials, become U.S. Government property, and will not be returned. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBizOpps) website.
