- The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL), Water Supply and Water Resources Division located at 26 W. Martin Luther King Dr., Cincinnati, OH intends to solicit on a competitive basis, servicing and maintenance for a Thermo Accela UPLC pump and auto sampler and a Thermo TSQ Vantage Mass Spectrometer, both units used for in-house research. The period of performance for the requested service agreement is required to be from date of award through 12 months with 2 additional 12-month option periods. The instruments are required for gathering data in support of several drinking water and water quality objectives. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Commercial Item Procedures using full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811219. The size standard for this code is $7 million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the FedConnect website, https://www.fedconnect.net/, on or before November 16, 2015. The anticipated award date will be in December 29, 2015. Technical acceptability will be determined based on the minimum specifications to be identified in the solicitation.
