- Solicitation - Solid Waste Removal - USMCFP Springfield The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQP04141500050 for the provision of Solid Waste Removal services. The services will be provided to the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP), Springfield, Missouri. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base period and four option years. The government owns a 24yd compactor and a 42yd translifter which the contractor will empty weekly. The contractor will furnish a 40yd open box top container which the government will rent and call the contractor when it is time to empty. The contractor will furnish a 4yd front load roll-off container which the government will rent and the contractor will empty twice per week. The estimated quantity for the base period will be 26 pulls for the government owned equipment, 6 pulls for the 40yd container, 52 pulls for the 4yd container. The estimated quantity for the option years will be 52 pulls for the government owned equipment, 12 pulls for the 40yd container, 104 pulls for the 4yd container. The solicitation will be available on or about November 9, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 7, 2016. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
