- Description
- The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Dominance Division, AIM 120 Development Branch (AFLCMC/EBAD), intends to solicit and award a contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Missile Systems, 1151 E. Hermans Road, Tucson AZ, 85756, to support AIM-120 weapon system development test activities including field test team support and weapon system testing and analysis. The contracting approach for this anticipated action is to award a 12-month base year with three (3) option periods of one (1) year each. Requirements of this anticipated contract action include materials and services necessary to accomplish test planning, test operations, and telemetry and recorder data collection. Testing will consist of ground tests, captive flight tests, and live fire tests to include both instrumented and tactical (non-instrumented) test assets. Test support will be required at various test ranges including Eglin AFB FL, China Lake NAWC CA, Tyndall AFB FL, White Sands Missile Range NM, Utah Test and Training Range, and Nevada Test and Training Range, with support at other locations as directed by the Government. The contractor will also be required to coordinate and report Special Test Vehicle (STV) and other test asset usage under the Consolidated Asset Maintenance Program (CAMP) and will repair CAMP assets as needed. The contractor will also develop and deliver an annual maintenance plan by which the Government CAMP Asset Coordinator can project maintenance requirements. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must be received within 15 calendar days after the posted date of this synopsis. An ombudsman has been appointed in accordance with AFFARS 5352.201-9101. Before consulting with the ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the Contracting Officer for resolution. If resolution cannot be made by the Contracting Officer, the interested party may contact the Ombudsman (Interim), Ms. Jill Willingham, Acquisition Program Management Division, (AFLCMC/AQP), Wright Patterson, AFB, OH, 937-255-5472.
