Description
The Defense Logistics Agency, DLR Procurement Operations, Warner Robins, will acquire Electronic Warming Ovens used on the E-3C Sentry AWACS Aircraft using sole source acquisition procedures. Solicitation SPRWA1-16-Q-0002 is for a Firm Fixed Price contract for New/ Unused material to obtain 10 each of the item labeled: Electronic Warming Oven. Detailed drawings are not available from the procuring activity. It will not be a split award but all or none. Items to be procured are as follows: NSN: 7310-01-016-0966 Part Number: 11165-1 Manufacturer: VALAD ELECTRIC HEATING CO. Description: Frequency rating: 400.0 hertz nominal Depth: 18.200 inches nominal Height: 17.000 inches nominal Width: 10.200 inches nominal Voltage: 115.0 volts minimum and 200.0 maximum Wattage: 1.7 kilowatts Quantity: 10 each Basic Ordering Period- 10 each Delivery: 90 days after receipt of contract Duration of Contract Period: Completion of shipment of units This acquisition will be processed sole source to Valad Electric Corp. in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1). A written solicitation will be issued. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(12)(i) - Buy American Act/Free Trade Agreements/Israeli Trade Act: One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements." IAW FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency Numbered Notes: 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Numbered Note 23. 23. Award will be made only if offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Electronic response is required. Anticipated Award Date: 29 January 2016
