- The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation for a survey of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) infestation in Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Survey: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. Work involves but is not limited to insect trap placement, maintenance, inspection, removal, and disposal in Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Survey: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina; identification of suitable sites and trees within designated cells; visual surveys of the environment for ash trees exhibiting signs and symptoms of emerald ash borer (EAB) in proximity of the traps; sign placement; submission of suspect EAB specimen samples; data management; and distribution of educational material where appropriate. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract consisting of a base period and two option periods. The appropriate NAICS code for this procurement is 115310 with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) on or around November 13, 2016.
