Description
88th RSC Geographical Coverage Map Capabilities Questionnaire This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) notice. The Government is seeking to identify qualified sources under the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes: NAICS 561210 (Facilities Support Services) 561720 (Janitorial Services) 561730 (Landscaping Services) 562111 (Solid Waste Collection) This RFI is for market research purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. 1. PROJECT INFORMATION. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville is seeking a streamlined approach to providing services to the 88th RSC. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform 1) Janitorial/Custodial Services, 2) Grounds Maintenance Services, 3) Refuse and Recycling Services, and 4) Snow Removal Services. Janitorial/Custodial Support: Composed of managing and executing specific custodial tasks, including but not limited to: cleaning interior window surfaces, cleaning exterior window surfaces, removing trash and recyclables, vacuuming, sweeping/dust mopping floors, walk-off mat cleaning, floor stripping/waxing/buffing, surface shampooing, extraction cleaning, sweeping of stairways, low/high dusting, cleaning drinking fountains, servicing and cleaning restrooms. Grounds Maintenance Support: Composed of maintaining satisfactory lawn, tree, shrub, and other exterior flora in a condition that presents a clean, neat, and professional appearance, with tasks that include, but are not limited to: mowing, edging, aeration, trimming around fixed objects, trimming fence lines, removing unwanted vegetation/grass clippings, lawn trash removal, spring and fall clean-up activities, weed control of gravel areas, fertilizer application and broad leaf control. These tasks will vary depending on areas and intended usage. Refuse/Recycling Support: Composed of performing refuse and recycling services in a manner that will maintain dumpsters/containers and surrounding area in a condition that presents a clean, neat, and professional appearance, with tasks that include, but are not limited to: collecting all refuse and recycling from contractor supplied dumpsters/containers, with pick up schedules coordinated by the government; responding on site to troubleshoot or repair contractor supplied equipment within twenty-four (24) hours of any government request. Snow Removal Support: Composed of performing necessary snow removal services in a manner that will maintain safe conditions on roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks, with tasks that include, but are not limited to: Plowing and clearing to the bare surface from curb to curb or the complete traveled way on all streets and drives, keeping snow free of all driveway serpentines and security structures, keeping waste removal receptacles cleared to be serviceable, keep all fire hydrants free of snow and provide a clear pathway, treating plowed and cleaned surfaces skid-free by applying sand, salt or approved chemical, keeping sidewalks in slip free condition, and removal of snow from drifted areas. 2. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS. Interested firms must provide a capability narrative in accordance with the attached Capabilities Questionnaire, indicating your firms experience and qualifications with similar type services, as well as the prime contractors name, address, point of contact phone number and email address. Submit responses via email LaSheena.T.Vaughn@usace.army.mil. Submission should be received by 2:00 pm CST on 14 December 2015; and should not exceed 10 one-sided, 81/2" X 11" pages. Computer files must be compatible with Microsoft Word 2013. NO HARD COPY OR FACSIMILE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Cover letters and extraneous materials (brochures, etc) will not be considered.
