Description
The 48th Contracting Squadron (CONS) at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, is performing market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential sources in preparation for a potential future contract. This is a market survey for written information only and is not a for supplies or services. The NAICS code for planning purposes include: 561720 - Janitorial Services. Seeking qualified sources and information in regards to aseptic cleaning and management for RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. Information is inclusive of any required certifications, industry standards including The Joint Commission (TJC) Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Hospitals (CAMH) and NHS standards. Place of the performance will be in the United Kingdom in five geographically separated locations. Medical aseptic housekeeping services are classified into three general definitions, cleaning, protection and beautification. The contractor must provide case driven housekeeping to non-critical and critical care areas. The contractor will provide constant policing as the need arises. There will be cycle task line items which include window cleaning, light fixture cleaning, and linen services. The contractor shall sort and account for linen. Healthcare waste shall be collected and removed by contractor in a transport cart separate from general refuse. The contractor shall clean all surfaces to include but not limited to: non-invasive medical equipment, all furniture, any surface not bearing carpets, vacuum carry out carpet maintenance. Disinfectant shall be applied when required. Contractor shall ensure restrooms are stocked sufficiently with contractor-supplied consumables.
