- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary to perform scheduled services and maintenance on all Paint Cleaning Equipment as defined in this PWS. The scheduled monthly maintenance service on 20 each Paint Gun Cleaner (IT-200), 17 each Paint Reclamation System (IT-3900) and 9 each Paint Rinse Tank (IT-8) shall include the following: 1.2.a. Inspection of all parts and components for cleanliness and serviceability. 1.2.b. Removal and replacement of all defective or unserviceable parts or components. 1.2.c. Removal and replacement of filter elements at each visit, as needed, to ensure maximum solvent use and life. 1.2.d. Addition or replacement of solvents as necessary to ensure operational fluid levels and effectiveness are maintained. 1.2.e. Spent filters to be taken to a government-designated collection point for disposal by the government as per local regulations. 1.2.f. Spent solvent or sludge to be placed in a government designated container for disposal by the government as per local regulations. 1.2.g. Replace solvent at least once per month per system or as required based on usage. Virgin solvent will be provided by the Contractor to replace lost solvent due to drag out and solvent change out. Contractor shall maintain an adequate inventory of solvent on hand to perform the outlined activities. 1.2.h. Replace filters once per month per system or as required based on usage. Filters shall be provided by the Contractor. Contractor shall keep an adequate inventory of filters on hand to perform the outlined activities. Spill Cleanup: In the event that a spill occurs which is generated by the Contractor during the performance of service, the Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the cleanup and protection of surrounding personnel, equipment, and the environment.
