Description
The following is a Sources Sought/Request For Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (CMCVAMC) has a future requirement for the provision of intraoperative neurological monitoring (IOM) and interpretation to be provided at the CMCVAMC. Services required include full spectrum of direct real-time intraoperative neurological monitoring, as well as communication with onsite surgeon(s), anesthesiologists and other operating room personnel as needed. Additionally, the Contractor shall have a sufficient number of fully trained physicians and technicians to ensure that qualified individuals provide services on a regular basis as specified herein. The Contractor will furnish all equipment and supplies required for performance under this contract. The majority of services shall be provided during standard business hours Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 4:30pm. Surgeries requiring IOM services scheduled for later in the day may extend beyond standard business hours. In those instances, the contractor shall provide IOM services through completion of the surgery. Emergency services may be required during off duty hours - Monday through Friday between 4:31pm and 6:59am, weekends and federal holidays. The number of IOM Contractor technicians required to be on site is variable depending on the cases performed. In cases of emergent requests and weekend surgical cases, the contractor shall provide a turnaround time of 2 hours for neuro monitoring. This Sources Sought is being issued for VA planning purposes only. Those vendors who are interested in this future procurement are asked to send a response to this notice to the Contract Specialist Noelle Irish expressing their interest. NOTE: Questions regarding this notice should be addressed to Ms. Irish via email only. Faxes and voices mails will not be accepted. The results of this sources sought will be used to help the government make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources to provide the required intraoperative neurological monitoring (IOM) and interpretation services. Therefore, it is very important that all potentially qualified sources respond to this notice.
