- Draft SOW Synopsis: This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for information and planning purposes ONLY. No awards will be made from the responses to this announcement. However, responses may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325120 and the size standard to qualify as a small business is 1,000 Employees. All interested parties must have a DUNS number, Taxpayer Identification Number, and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Objective: The U.S. Environmental Protection (EPA) Region 10 Manchester Environmental Laboratory (MEL) requires various industrial and laboratory gases in order to meet its mission. This RFI is searching for potential sources for the continuous supply of the necessary gases to the laboratory. This RFI is looking to: 1) gauge industry interest, capabilities, and relevant experience to provide the delivery of and maintenance of various laboratory gases (refer to the attached list); determine any possible set-asides; and 3) receive rough order magnitude quotes. EPA will be using responses from this RFI for documentation of Market Research and in preparing the most appropriate proposal request format. Place of Performance: U.S. Environmental Protection Region 10 Manchester Environmental Laboratory 7411 Beach Dr. E Port Orchard, WA 98366 Resources: To aid industry in evaluating their ability to perform this requirement, the following documents have been attached: 1)Draft Statement of Work (SOW) Contractor Response Format: The EPA asks that all interested parties, at a minimum, supply the following information: 1)Name of Company and Point of Contact 2)Telephone number, address, and email address of POC 3)Company CAGE code and DUNS number 4)Business size and number of employees under proposed NAICS: 325120 and PSC code: 6830 5)Capabilities statement and relevant company experience in providing the requirements set forth in the attached Draft SOW Past Performance Information: Please provide in the response a list of any Government agency contracts within the last 36-month period, to include a brief description of the product/service provided for each contract. Only list contracts with similar experience to those listed in the Draft SOW. Type of Contract: An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Requirements type contract Award is contemplated. Period of performance will be a 1-year base period and two 1-year option periods for a maximum potential of three years. Submission Requirements: All information and data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be protected as such.
