Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17, intends to award a sole-source contract to Prometheus Laboratories, 9410 Carroll Park Drive, San Diego, CA 92121 to provide specialized laboratory testing for thiopurine metabolites (test code 3200) and pANCA indirect immunofluorescent assay IgG specific (test code 1800) for the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. Parties interested in responding to this notice must do so in writing no later than November 25, 2015 at 12pm CST to Dale.Padro@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 621511. This is for informational purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the government. Any information submitted to this notice of intent is voluntary.
