- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The 42nd Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential business sources to perform local or long-distance trucking of used household, used institutional, or used commercial furniture and equipment and incidental packing and storage services for Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, AL, and in the following Alabama counties: Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Bullock, Butler, and Chilton. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Any updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov, as available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484210. This comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing local or long-distance trucking of used household, used institutional, or used commercial furniture and equipment. Incidental packing and storage activities are often provided. Dependent upon responses to this Sources Sought announcement, it is anticipated that an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm-fixed-rates for a basic period of one year with four, one-year options may be solicited.
