- Amendment A001 to Solicitation No.: DTFAEN-16-R-00019 This Amendment is created to Include the following: (1) Clarify and include specific schedule of performance requirements and additional information concerning the work layout for each individual system. (2) Revise clause 3.2.2.3-71/alt1 - Starting, Performing, and Completing Work. Alternate I, to read as follow: (a) begin work under this contract within 5 calendar days after the date you receive the notice to proceed, or as specified for individual requirements and (c) complete the entire work ready for occupancy not later than 165 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. (3) Include a revised Statement of Work that included corrections outline during the site visit. De Jesus ORGANIZATION: AAQ-510 REGION: ASO PHONE NUMBER: 404-305-5763 E-MAIL: hector.dejesus@faa.gov PROCUREMENT METHOD: Request for Offer - SIR In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.3.1.2.1 “ the purpose of this SIR is to obtain information, which will ultimately allow the FAA to identify an Offeror that provides the best value, make a selection decision, and award a contract. The FAA Eastern Service Area, AAQ-510ATL Acquisition Office, has a new construction effort for the Upgrade of Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) Facilities Instrument Landing System (ILS), Visual Approach Slope Indicator (VASI) to Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) Orlando International Airport, Orlando Florida. This procurement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns and offers will be considered under full and open competition among the qualified responsive offerors who meet the requirements outline in Section L of the solicitation. The lowest price, technically acceptable source selection process will be used to meet FAA ™s best value criteria. The procurement is intended to result in an award of a firm, fixed price (FFP) contract. The Principal North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $14M. The performance period is 165 calendar days, following the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. In accordance with AMS Clause 3.3.1-33 - System for Award Management (August 2012), to be considered for award of this effort, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Capacity of performance bonds, payment bonds and insurance is required to be submitted with the offer. A Pre “Bid Site Visit is scheduled for November 16, 2015, at 09:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) at t the FAA Orlando International Airport FAA Facility, Orlando, Florida please RSVP by emailing Hector L. De Jesus (hector.dejesus@faa.gov) on or before November 13, 2015 4:30 PM EST to participate in the site visits. Attendees must have a Government issued ID to access the different construction sites. FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more Offerors at any time during the procurement process. Written questions or comments on this solicitation must be submitted to the FAA no later than November 20, 2015 at 4:30 PM EST. Send email messages to Hector L. De Jesus at (hector.dejesus@faa.gov).
