- DRAFT STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES The While House National Security Council (NSC) has deemed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and DOS should require PRC holders of 10-year visas or other designated country's visa travelers to periodically update biographic information. Travelers from the PRC, and other countries as designated by the NSC, will provide these periodic updates as a condition precedent to the U.S. granting them authorization to travel to the U.S. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will implement the impending approach within the Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS). CBP will establish the EVUS capabilities in a manner that allows the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security to use their statutory authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) related to visa issuance, revocation and conditions of admission and entry for aliens seeking to enter the United States. It is CBP's intent to use the information gathered in response to this Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice to better understand who is a solution that provides personnel, technology, facilities, necessary to deliver IT service desk support over the telephone, online for CBP service desk. CBP is interested in identifying vendors who are capable of offering Help Desk support. Furthermore, the responses obtained will enable CBP to refine the strategy for the development of this requirement in order to structure a program that will mitigate cost, schedule and performance risks. The projected NAICS for this procurement is 541519. To assist CBP in identifying potential sources that possess the specific expertise, capabilities and experience please carefully read and respond to the attached document titled, DRAFT STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES. Respondents to this notice shall provide a writen capabilities statement, which includes and addresses the document and any relevant information that specifically addresses the company's capabilities. Capabilities Statements shall be no longer than 20 pages double-spaced, 12 point font. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part, any industry input, as a result of this Notice. Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in the Government being unable o adequately assess your capabilities. When submitting responses, vendors shall clearly identify any information it considers sensitive or proprietary. All information received in response to this Notice that is marked "proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Responses to this Notice will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated and incurred by submitting a response. Eligibility to participate in a future acquisition is not predicated on a response to this Notice. DISCLAIMER AND IMPORTANT NOTES: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in this response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determne the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.
