Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION VA69D-16-N-0127 IDIQ for MEP+FP Engineering Design Services Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI This www.FBO.gov publication is a Request for Information (RFI) for Standard Form, SF-330 packages. This action is not, a formal Request for Proposal, rather the SF-330 packages shall be collected, reviewed by the Source Selection Board and interviews conducted with the top three, most highly qualified firms. This solicitation will generate one new, multiple-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract professional, specialized engineering and design and construction period services for multiple task orders at the Tomah VA Medical Center. The required services are professional in nature and will involve projects primarily related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing or fire-protection specialties (MEP+FP). Contractor shall be qualified to provide professional, engineering design and construction period services, simultaneously, on multiple task orders. In addition to engineering design services, some components of a particular task order may include minor actions related to general architectural and structural design components. Additional requirements, other than actual engineering design services may include items such as existing site condition investigations, historical research, plan meetings, preparing cost estimates, copying drawings and specifications, submittal reviews, answering contractor requests for information and active construction site inspections. This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside; area of consideration is restricted to a 250 mile driving radius of Tomah, Wisconsin. The firm shall be listed in CCR under NAICS Code 541330 Engineering Services whereby the firm is primarily engaged in applying physical laws and principles of engineering in the design, development, and utilization of machines, materials, instruments, structures, processes, and systems. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for NAICS Code 541330 is $15 million. This contract shall be issued as a multiple year, five (5) year ordering period. Total costs paid under the resultant contract for all task orders and modifications shall not exceed $4,700,000. Individual task orders, combined with modifications, shall not be less than $2,000 and not exceed $1,000,000. Each firm shall submit three (3) SF-330 hard copies, one CD-copy and one email submission to Kristi.Kluck3@va.gov. Packages shall be delivered to Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center/NCO-12, 115 S. 84th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476.
