Description
Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in Texarkana, TX is seeking possible sources to provide the equipment listed below. Please respond if your firm is interested in providing this equipment. Wiring Harness Testing System for Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS)/Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)/ High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS)/ Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) fleet/ High Mobility Multi Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) RRAD has the assigned mission to overhaul various wheeled/tracked vehicles in the Army system. This includes the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS)/Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)/ High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS)/ Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) fleet/ High Mobility Multi Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). Associated with this work is the requirement to perform continuity and isolation checks for reclaimed wiring harnesses and Electronic Control Boards. The depot is interested in identifying contractors able to furnish a Wiring Harness Test System. The Wiring Harness Test System shall have the ability to test the continuity and isolation checks for any harness as well as any Electronic Control Box deemed necessary by RRAD. The Wiring Harness Test System should be compatible with.RO and.UT file formats without modification and/or translation. The Test Application Software should automatically prompt the Operator to perform and confirm pass/fail status of items being tested. Tests must be predefined and the process must be automated so that results are reliable and consistent. The entire system should reside within a mobile computer enclosure. The depot prefers a solution that is turn-key and one that is a common and/or standard product for the supplier and wishes to avoid tailor-made solutions. Wiring Harness Test System must be compatible with existing equipment being utilized by RRAD and or able to retrofit existing at vendor's expense. Vendor must provide field service representatives for installation upon arrival to RRAD for installation purposes. The equipment must withstand the rigors of 24 hour, 7 days per week operation. The contractor must be able to support the depot with spare parts and maintenance response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of Small and Large Business Community to include 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
