- Request for Information will be issued on 19 November 2015 Solicitation No. W81XWH-16-T-0023. The Government requirement is to provide the support of research for the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), 1425 Porter Street, fort Detrick, MD 21702-5711. It issuing Office is U. S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, MD 21702-5014. The purpose for the Request for Information (RFI) is a method of conducting market research for information and planning purposes only, and is not to be constructed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement at this time and the propose incumbents will be able to submit their quotes/proposals to the solicitation number W81XWH-16-T-0023. The requirement is a firm fixed price. All responses must be submitted via e-mail to the point of contact identified below; no other method of transmittal will be accepted. This is a new requirement, please do not contact via telephone. Requirement will be unrestricted open market; closing date for RFI will be on 27 November 2015 @ 4:00 PM EST. Solicitation will therefore follow within the next 5 business date of the due date of this notice. A quantity of 1 each for Scanner InnoScan 300 - R (Red Laser) Manufacturer Innopsys with Limited Warranty 12 months; One each Software License automatic PMT settings and automatic gridding and automatic barcode reading; 1 each Mapix Version 7.3.1 includes free updates for one year; 1 each Dell Precision M4800 CTO Base Laptop, minimal PC Configuration OS 64 bit RAM 6GB or better; 1 each CD Installation, InnoSlide validation slide three year validity; 1 each power cable; 1 each Ethernet cable; 1 day installation and training on-site; Brand Name or Equal. Minimal Essential Characteristics (MECS) For the Support of U.S. Army Medical Institute of Infectious Diseases Fort Detrick, MD Brand Name or Equal Single color fluorescent microarray reader required by MTS Division, USAMRIID, to support research studies. Optical Specifications: Resolution (pixel size) must be 10,15,20,25,30,35 and 40 μm Must be fixed focus optical resolution of 10μm spot diameter Must be single channel 635nm excitation wavelength by a diode laser, temperature and current-controlled. Must be 1 digital photomultiplier detection (PMT) Must be PMT gain Linear from 0 to 100; Real-time adjustable during a preview Must be dynamic range of 4 orders of magnitude, 6 orders of magnitude in dynamic range extension model Analysis: Must be image size of 260Mb, tiff format with the ability to also same image as a jpeg file. Must be able to read and import.gal files for to create a grid for spot identification. Format with gpr and txt compatibility. Must have RAW data acquisition sent directly to MS-Excel© including measurement parameters Scanning area must be adjustable up to 22 x 74mm2 Scanning speed must be adjustable from 10 to 35 lines/sec. Must have validation system with 3 year validity - Ensures that the scanner is in correct working order for 3 years. Software and hardware: Must have minimal PC configuration; OS 64 bit, RAM 6GB, and screen resolution 1680x1050, 500BG serial ATA hard drive. Must have license for Mapix 7.3.1 software with automatic PMT settings and automatic gridding. Must be Automatic barcode reading.
