- SCOPE OF WORK ID #: WS1-100-18 “THIS IS A PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITY WITH ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES, INC., AT THE WOODSTOCK JOB CORPS CENTER AND NOT WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT” Adams and Associates, Inc., contracting for the U.S. Department of Labor for the operation of the Woodstock Job Corps Center - a 428 student residential training facility located at 10900 Old Court Road, Woodstock, Maryland is currently soliciting written bids for the below services. All quotes must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department by COB 5pm EST on November 30, 2015. Quotes received after the deadline and/or without all requested documentation will not be considered. Project Description: The Center needs rental charter busses for students’ winter break departure and pick-up. Departure: (All busses arriving on ctr at 2:45 pm and departing around 3:15 pm) on December 16, 2015. 1 bus to Virginia with these stops 1. Fredericksburg Rest Stop, (VA Welcome Center I-95 south at mile 131); 2. Richmond Greyhound (2910 N Blvd gate 1); and 3. Norfolk Greyhound Station (701 Monticello Avenue). 4 (55 pass) busses to Greenbelt subway station – 5717 Greenbelt Metro Drive (kiss and ride) – Exit 24 off I-95 south 1 (55 pass) bus to Old Court Subway Station, 4300 Old Court Rd. Baltimore, Md. Returning: January 06, 2016 1 bus departing 2:15 pm from Norfolk, VA – Greyhound Station 701 Monticello Avenue; 4:30 pm from Richmond, VA –Richmond Greyhound Station 2910 N Blvd (gate 1). (note: no stop in Fredericksburg on the return trip.) 4 (55 pass) busses departing 5:30 pm from Greenbelt subway station – 5717 Greenbelt Metro Drive (kiss and ride) 1 bus departing Old Court subway station 4300 Old Court Rd. Baltimore, Md. at 7:00 pm Center will provide chaperones on busses to Greenbelt only for departure and return trips. The other destinations will not have a chaperone on the bus. If unable to quote, please indicate ‘No Bid’ and return bid package to us. Adams and Associates, Inc. reserves the right to reject any bids and select the bid deemed most responsible. Bidders should be aware of bid requirements for federally funded projects and act accordingly. Bidders are placed on notice that this is a competitive bid process and cost is an important fact. Overall low bid does not constitute bid award. Lowest price will not guarantee contract award. Contract award will be based on quality, experience, expertise and price. Woodstock Job Corps Center is a federally funded facility and entitled to GSA pricing. All wages are to be paid per Service Contract Act, see attached, and subject to the Service Contract Act. All question regarding the Invitation to Bid and/or scope of work must be submitted in writing to: brown.denora@jobcorps.org. No phone calls will be accepted. The vendor shall obtain and maintain insurance as follows, if required: • Workers Compensation must meet state statutory limit requirements, including those for Employer’s Liability, if applicable • Comprehensive General Liability with Woodstock Job Corps Center listed as additional insured. ($1,000,000 per occurrence). • Comprehensive Automobile Liability ($1,000,000/combined single limit) • Fire Legal Liability ($500,000 per occurrence) • The proposed shall cover any and all expenses not covered by said insurance including all deductibles..
