Qualification Requirements: YES 12: Contractor First Article Testing Requirement: YES 13. Small Business Set-Aside: YES 14: Multi-Year Contract: YES 15: NEW MANUFACTURED MATERIAL ONLY 16. The Items, Estimated Quantities and Required Deliveries are as Follows: Liner, Augmentor Com - New Manufactured Material. Function and description: 15.00 inches long X 4.50 inches wide X 0.50 inches high, weighing 10.00 lbs. and composed of columbium alloy, this item protects the convergent seal assemblies from high exhaust gas temperatures. Destination: SW3211. MYC Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ): 619 EA Year One, 655 EA Year Two, and 458 EA for Year Three. Delivery: 200 EA Monthly Beginning 113 Calendar Days ARO & Approval of the First Article Exhibits. 17. Mandatory Language: The proposed contract action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a full and open requirement. All proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(i), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. First Article testing is required to ensure the reliability and integrity of the item and operational safety of the weapon system that uses it. Offerors can apply for waiver of First Article approval under the following condition(s): Offerors who have previously furnished production quantities of the same or similar article to the prime contractor for delivery to the Government; Offerors who have previously furnished production quantities of the same or similar articles (provided not more than 36 months have elapsed since completion of the contract) to the Government, provided articles thus furnished, have exhibited satisfactory performance in service in the opinion of the Air Force.
