Description

RFI HSTS04-16-RFI-CT7999 The Mission Analysis Division (MAD) within the Office of Security Capabilities (OSC) of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is conducting market research for the impacts of standardizing data formats and interfaces for aviation security Transportation Security Equipment (TSE). The focus of this RFI is on communication within the X-ray and Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) modalities; however, comments for other modalities are welcome that may assist in future TSA planning. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or any commitment or intent to issue an RFP or Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The RFI does not commit the TSA to contract for any supply or service. The TSA is not at this time seeking proposals. Responders are advised that the TSA will not pay any costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to the RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the TSA. All submissions become the property of the TSA and will not be returned. Please see attached the subject Request for Information for additional details.
